@HelenBranswell My family all got either a fourth shot (me) or a covid infection (husband and kids) around August, so we've been waiting on the bivalent, but we're planning to get it next week. I hope there are others like us who are planning it this month to maximize protection for holiday gatherings, but realistically I suspect we're not enough to make much of a bump in the numbers.

@HelenBranswell @feznander there are many people in this situation. Lots of people were infected with return to school in the US prior to bivalent being available and some are waiting 3-4 months for their booster, but it’s hard to quantify how many will get boosted.
