8th set of photos taken from the #CaliforniaZephyr, as it winds along the #ColoradoRiver through the #RockyMountains.
Finally we are entering infamous #GoreCanyon. Railroad or white water raft are the only possible ways to access this rugged canyon, lined with sheer, 3000 foot granite cliffs. The river drops 300 feet in the space of just 3 miles, creating a series of Class IV and V rapids.
