A really good article about quantum computing. I'd love to learn more. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2022/12/19/the-world-changing-race-to-develop-the-quantum-computer
Seen a few articles pop up about this this morning. The articles don't mention that links to Mastodon are still not allowed. This seems like a big issue that is being ignored.

I did a blog. Funny, it looks very similar to my last few blog posts 😆

OK, if they do this, I guess I'll switch to Firefox or Brave. https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2022/12/chrome-delays-plan-to-limit-ad-blockers-new-timeline-coming-in-march/
I had three people separately respond to my last toot with one letter each, in the span of 30 minutes, spelling out the first three letters of the N word.
Am I wrong to guess that this is some intentionally racist behavior? I looked at each of the profiles and they each seem otherwise normal.
WTF is going on here? Is this common?
ChatGPT, not bad
Me: Write a Unitarian Universalist sermon.
ChatGPT: As Unitarian Universalists, we believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We believe that each and every one of us has something valuable to offer the world, and that it is our responsibility to treat one another with kindness and respect.
In a world that can often feel divided and fractious, it is more important than ever that we stand together and affirm our shared humanity. We are all in this together, and it is only by coming together and supporting one another that we can create a better world for ourselves and for future generations.
So let us embrace our diversity, and let us celebrate the unique perspectives and experiences that each of us brings to the table. Let us strive to be understanding and compassionate, and let us work together to build a world that is more fair, more just, and more loving.
May we all be guided by the principles of our faith, and may we use those principles to inspire us to be our best selves and to make the world a better place. Amen.
Got my wife a new phone. Worked on transferring her data from her Pixel 4a to Pixel 7. SMSs didn't automatically transfer. Neither did Signal messages. For her work account, it needed some sort of device administration app, which gave a network error twice, separated by factory resets.
Android data transfer for a new device is nowhere near good enough, and it never has been the 5+ times I've gone through this process.
