It's a wonder to me how one sided, extreme and naiive the discourse in politics are nowadays despite the side. Russia bad, Iran bad, Israel bad, USA bad. And if you don't agree, you're bad. Genocide here, genocide there, boycott this, boycott that. Things are not one sided or simple. Sometimes history is complicated and spans over thousands of years. A westener can't know it all.

I'm purposefully vague here, because it seems if you are not clearly echoing 100% this one agenda on Mastodon, you get the hate. I hope this doesn't spark from this post.
