i need new headphones. been reading reviews praising sony’s WH-1000XM5, but that’s in the price range of apple’s airpods pro 2. i love the tight eco system integrations of the latter, but i’ve sworn to never buy airpods again because of them becoming bricked after a few years when the batteries die (with sony headphones, a cord is always included so i’m never depending on battery). i’ve kept my current corded headphones for 10 years (!).
thoughts?
@brookie anecdotally, “a few years” is all I’ve gotten out of corded headphones as well before the cord shears off from wear at some awkward location. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. I suppose nobody makes in-ear headphones with replaceable batteries?
