Essa cultura de deixar as coisas pra última hora é muito forte né?
Eu estou vendo as entregas de relatórios dos alunos de bioquímica. Eles tiveram 3 semanas para entregar. Dos 18 grupos, só 1 entregou adiantado. A maioria entregou faltando 1h para acabar o prazo, que foi ontem à meia noite. Acho que eu estreguei a sexta feira deles. kkk
Não estou julgando, só observando. Pq a gente é assim?.

Ontem, eu participei de uma assembleia de estudantes na USP. A discussão foi sobre o apoio aos outros movimentos estudantis que estão acontecendo na universidade. A reunião estava indo bem, mas perto da votação os ânimos se esquentaram. As pessoas começaram a fazer questionamentos sobre os encaminhamentos, e a falta de tempo acabou por prejudicar a conversa, que ganhou falas machistas e falta de respeito.

Furthermore, we are always in the company of trillions of bacteria that share everything we have done.

Thomas Hunt Morgan was born #OTD in 1866.
He was an American evolutionary biologist, geneticist, embryologist, and science author who won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1933 for discoveries elucidating the role that the chromosome plays in heredity.
During his distinguished career, Morgan wrote 22 books and 370 scientific papers. As a result of his work, "Drosophila" became a major model organism in contemporary genetics. via @wikipedia

ahem, I think that 1) desert ecologists will want to have a word, and 2) once you've regreened the land, others will want to "develop" it for their uses, so it may end up under asphalt etc like the rest of the planet?
I would be ok with regreening land that has desertified recently eg due to anthropogenic change.
