Being slightly tempted to write a floating point library in 6502 assembly simply because the idea of using a bunch of 6502s in lock step as a GPU is highly amusing.
@ClimateNewsNow I think way more detail is needed here. Many dogs do just fine at 31, even 37C! If this weren’t the case there would be no stray dogs anywhere in the tropics. Sure, some pure bred dogs are fragile, unhealthy, barely able to breathe creatures that can’t cope with normal conditions in tropical countries. But to many people, me included, 19C is cold has all hell. Dogs and humans can inhabit the same habitat, dogs aren’t just meant to live in colder weather alone.

I tried upgrading a package with brew without realising I had installed it with pip and in the process ended up with 2 versions of the package, neither of which was the upgraded one I wanted
