@zelda Well ain't that the same story I'm having! Except I can't say anything to my boss, since he has the same coprorate mentality... But I found a project in another branch of the organisation that really suits me. It's almost pure research (instead of some corporate BS) and it's remote! Rn I'm having people from that project contact my boss and reposition me. I feel you with the overachieving. I have so much energy, but it needs to go into something valuable - to me at least!
@hartree I feel you 💯 I will not do meaningless work that doesn’t add any value to me or the company just to seem busy. If the manager does not know how to use and appreciate my skills or too insecure to let me get credit for what I do, why would I even try? 🤷🏽♀️
@hartree I have been mismanaged and disrespected by my manager, snitched on the boss, waiting to be repositioned. Don’t want her to take credit for anything I achieve in the meantime 🤣 I’m such an over achiever it’s really a lot harder for me to sit and do nothing but it’s well deserved… How about you?
