@SecondJon The book is great too. I don’t think people realize it’s more about being a child and having a weird neighbor than the trial.

@hashtaggrammar yes, I remember when I read it as a kid I was really into the story of the kids adventures, and the trial seemed to sneak up on me and all of a sudden it got very serious.

Today, though, the police would get called and child protective services would be brought in if scout was allowed to go around being a kid. :(
