I've been feeling rather rotten for leaving so many of my favorite books off the list above. are in order. Because I can and no one can stop me.

3. Farewell, My Lovely by Raymond Chandler
4. The House of Mirth by Edith Wharton
5. As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner
6. My Man Jeeves (and all other Jeeves books) by P.G. Wodehouse
7. Of Human Bondage by Somerset Maugham

Well, now I feel I want to list 7 more but I think I'll stop here.
