Subjects where you can write an entire book by starting off with 10 pages on how the subject is hard to define, followed by 20 pages demolishing previous definitions, followed by 5 diving deep into the etymology of the name of the subject despite its irrelevance, followed by 5 giving a new definition which is fake in the sense that it only makes sense if you already know what the subject is about, followed by 30 pages surveying the different methodologies people have used in this subject, follow

I love the way mathematics books will start with "Let X be a multiply branched pre-sentient germ in a field..." and bam! you're in.
