#Breaking #Poland's President Andrzej Duda says Warsaw is ready to send Leopard tanks to #Ukraine as part of an international coalition.

"A company of Leopard tanks will be handed over as part of coalition building,"

The announcement was made during Duda's visit to Lviv in Western #Ukraine

By saying this publicly, Poland is putting more pressure on other possible members of this "coalition".

The main decision-maker is Germany. Without Berlin this statement will remain just that - a statement.

The goal is to put more pressure on Germany to agree to the delivery of those tanks.

@michaelh992 is this because Germany has to approve any delivery of Leopards? Or can Poland send them without Germany's ok?
