According to the @nytimes, the #Apple Goggles rollout video:

“showed a man in a London taxi donning an augmented reality headset and calling his wife in San Francisco”

Is headset pocketable? How about the battery pack? If not, I just don’t buy spontaneously pulling this out in a cab.

AirPods? Pocketable. Apple Watch? On my wrist without a thought.

Goggles + Battery pack + cables? That's more cumbersome than AirPods Max, at the very least, yes?
🤔

@davemark @nytimes Especially when you consider how easy it is to do that with an iPhone or an iPad. The addition of goggles doesn’t make any sense.

I have yet to hear of a compelling use case for these goggles. cause what that taxi video is supposedly about ain't it by a mile. with a price tag of 3k it won't matter anyway but still, what's the killer app on these?

@mcelhearn @davemark @nytimes
lol, you are jesting but that actually makes sense. except Apple will never support porn apps.

@herid @davemark @nytimes Perhaps not, but people will find a way. Porn has driven technology since the VCR and will continue to do so.
