@IoanSaid XS Trek X-Caliber, 27.5 wheel, if he's tall enough and got enough standover. Short stem and he might be good to go. My son kicked serious tail racing on the one I built up for him. Bought the frameset then threw on some decent parts. Truly a great bike. Another kid in our area is now racing on it after he outgrew it. Handled XC racing and technical black diamond trails in Moab, UT, Arkansas and the Michigan UP easily.
@DominickOppolo Yeah, hard to complain about that!
@nixCraft 3840x2160 and 1920x1200.
@brewcitychaser Yeah, this will be fun....
So I understand that the bird site has started blocking links to common/known Mastodon instances, and that doesn't seem like free speech to me. So... I did a thing.
If you go to https://spacekaren.sucks it is now a URL shortener that blocks the twitter user agent. That means you can share that link that will redirect to your Mastodon account without the pouty baby stopping you. If you find this helpful can you boost so others can find it? #TwitterMigration #Mastodon #Musk #introduction
A mob of red deer stags in Richmond Park, they were on the edge of the woods and unless you stopped to look from most angles they were perfectly hidden, I crouched down to take the shot, that's when I could see how many there were (shot with a long lens it looks like I was a lot closer than I actually was). #RichmondPark #RedDeer #Stags #RedStags #WildLifePhotography #Nature #Photography #AltText
@Tylae Ha, that's funny. Our other cat does that right after we put clean sheets on the bed. I bet you're right about scent being part of it!
I checked with the other physicists and if our calculations are correct Elon Musk’s skin is now the thinnest substance known to science.
@brewcitychaser Clearly that's how a successful company operates!
I hate to admit, but I've never built or flown the timeless Estes Big Bertha. I had a set of fins from a Baby Bertha and all the other parts I needed to get very close to the original (but not quite). So, here's the Biggish Berthaish. #rocketry #modelrockets
@neogodless Ha! Not much clamping. Rocketry building glue trick. Put thin layer of glue on both surfaces, let dry a bit. Then a small bead of glue and get in place quicky since it will grab very quickly. Works for rocket fins, seemed to do the job here. There are screws holding many of the pieces as well.
Another table done. Just a basic sofa table. Rough cut from an ash tree I had to take down in our backyard. Ran through the planer a bit and then cut into pieces to make this. Relatively square and stuff, but not meant to be perfect. Crappy light from the bulbs in here...maybe will get some more pics in weekend sunlight. #woodworking
