Wish I felt the same about my job as I do ice cream.

Honesty, life would be way better if it all was like ice cream.

Two old sentries watching over a field in Southeastern Wisconsin. Shot quite a few years ago, but still a favorite of mine.

Time for service of the Rock Shox Yari on my Stache. If I'm going to have it all apart, I might as well take care of the oxidizing flat black paint, right?

Took a quick walk through the woods this afternoon since I plan to put up my sap tubing this weekend. It's been oddly warm, so I want to get ready in case I need to tap early. Measured three trees that have now reached tapping size and can be tied into my lines. Something nicely positive to find. I hope a more normal winter shows up soon, but it's likely this wild inconsistency is now normal. .

Hi Mastodon! I built a random comic generator that makes horrible comics about therapy. It's NSFW and, well .. horrible. If you generate a good one, post it in the comments.

Nearly calm winds, sun and nice temps made for a good day to get in some low power rockets flights on our local field. Some chutes didn't want to unfurl from the colder weather, so a few broken fins (repairable). Still, lots of fun flying today with the kiddo. @estesrockets

Adjustable laptop stand for my wife. I think mahogany, but am not sure. Random boards FTW! #woodworking

That is the thing about being an *adult*. You can buy whatever toys you want, and nobody can stop you. So I am completing all of my childhood dreams slowly. Hah. #AdultHood

Missed this last month! A new JWST image shows a patch of sky around the North Ecliptic Pole covering about 2% of the area of a full Moon.

Bright spots with diffraction spikes are stars; everything else is a galaxy.

The new Super Orbital Transport has to be one of the most fun kits I've ever built. Really fun, every step of the way. I took two small creative liberties with it; added a tailcone on the MMT for a bit more finished look and went with pearl white paint (pics don't do it justice). Looking forward to having some soft green grass on our local field to give this its first flight.

Suppose it's a good day to go fire up the chainsaw at 7:35am and be a great neighbor, right? 🤪

Good morning. It's warm and will be for a while. Expecting the ice to disappear.
