people talk a lot about jpegxl having better compression and thats true but it needs more credit for this

@h Just tried comparing these formats at a fairly extreme compression ratio. I used Affinity Photo. I was not happy with the result: JPEG XL is clearly inferior in quality to WEBP at the same file size; moreover - *visually* at 100% scale it looks even worse than regular JPEG (if you don't take into account its obvious square artifacts).
