This man I admire- but darn, he desperately needs a vacation! Why can't he see that?. sciencealert.com/here-s-what-e Can we do an intervention? Anyone know his goth girlfriend?

@Librul_Azzole Did I miss something? Some news I'm not aware of? Why is he disgusting? He is someone who is helping mankind reach Mars, become more interconnected thru hyperloops, and moving cars away from fossil fuels. He is also employing alot of people in the process. I can think of many more people I would find disgusting- it might take me all day to name them.

@johnpotter Okay where to start... Start up wealth from Zambian Emerald Mine, will not allow workers at his plants to unionize...
That's just for starters...
Need more?
He's got plenty of nasty...

@Librul_Azzole yes, interested in hearing more (not a union fan, but not willing to overlook exploitation either)

@johnpotter He's the kind of boss whose workers definitely need a union...

@Librul_Azzole Ok well- I'll do some research on this. (I'm not aware of his employees complaining about his management style).

@johnpotter I suppose Jeff Bezos is a great guy too...

Rolls eyes...

Capitalist Swine!

@Librul_Azzole I'm not actually a fan of Jeff Bezos. I am however a capitalist- but not a corporatist. There is a difference. Just a Milton Friedman fan. But I try not to define people solely by their political beliefs.

@johnpotter Ah... Then those you think are 'Gods of Industry', I think are 'Guillotine Ready' and we agree to disagree...

@Librul_Azzole yeah I guess so. What has been an important influence upon my beliefs are authors like Hayek, Friedman, Thomas Sowell. They might provide some food for thought- even though they go against your opinions. (if you haven't read). But it always good to open yourself up to challenging ideas. Remember - wealth doesn't just exist as a finite resource to be equitably distributed. It has to be continually created. Economics is rather fascinating and often counterintuitive in its prescriptions.

@johnpotter I'd prefer reading Richard Wolff, Stephanie Kelton, & Steve Keen on economics. They seem to have a better grasp on the subject...

@johnpotter They tend to be more of a look through the windshield rather than the rearview mirror...

@johnpotter Frankly with you being a Libertarian Conservative and my being an Anarcho Socialist there isn't much we will come close to agreeing on.

@Librul_Azzole True- and I could talk about what I see wrong with those authors and why I don't quite see them as economists- but that wouldn't change your mind.

@johnpotter Of course you would see it that way. Your sold on a theory that has never worked, and has been massaged considerably to limp along while its inherent greed kills, as it always ends in its most pure state... Fascism...
