@esheep I've been using XFS for years and I'm very happy with it, but ext4 should be good, too. I've heard good things about ZFS, but I've never tried it.

@kingu_platypus_gidora@octodon.social Def Leppard, Supertramp and Dire Straits. Those are NOT saved.

I'd probably save Pulp and The Clash, and then I'd have a tie for third between The Beatles, New Order and Radiohead. I don't see The Delgados in there, so I'm assuming they're already saved.

@coolboymew What did he think they do to animals in an animal SHELTER? Also, 2021 was two years ago now?

@someodd I think a project is like your house. When you invite someone into it, you don't want them to see a mess, you clean it up first, so they can feel at home for the evening.

So I don't worry about other people judging my code. I just think it's good manners to keep it tidy.

@PonyPanda But not for being a fat slut. I've known other fat sluts and only a few could keep me interested.

@ElMichel A mí hay dos cosas que me asombran: enterarme de que alguien es más joven que yo, y enterarme de que alguien es mayor que yo. Iván Ferreiro pertenece al segundo caso.

@sampo That's how I felt about girls when I was a teenager, but I never would have said that I hated them just for that.

@sampo Why do you hate people so much? (You don't have to answer if you consider it a private matter, but I'm curious.)

@urusan gTuring. It stopped being maintained some 15 years ago.

@atyh You're getting it wrong: It's not the government that controls corporations. It's corporations which control the government.

I mean, do you really think the government (any government) can control Amazon, Google or MS?

@mangeurdenuage I've never understood why that gesture is considered racist by The Perpetually Offended™. It's supposed to be cute.

@RL_Dane «Her profile increased during the centennial of Vincent van Gogh's move to Arles, which occurred from February 1888 to April 1889 when she was 13–14 years old. Calment claimed to reporters that she had met Van Gogh at that time, introduced to him by her (future) husband in her uncle's fabric shop. She remembered the meeting as a disappointment, and described him as ugly and "very disagreeable", adding that he "reeked of alcohol".»
