To all those naysayers that think that putting your #retrocomputing items in the sun doesn't work. Here's a before and after of the #Atari STE that has been in the UK sun for 4 days. As you can see the keyboard has lost a lot of its pumpkin colour. The UV levels ranged from 6-8 on those days.

@hacknorris QBASIC is a compiled BASIC. QB64 is a modern compiler/editor for it (and it works on Linux).

If you focus your eyes on the middle of the Mandelbrot Set (black "A" letters) you should see a 3d effect, as if that whole part is pushed in back.
Or this is just me and my screwed up eyesight?

@feoh @lopta Richard Russell's BBC BASIC for SDL 2.0 — bbcbasic.co.uk/bbcsdl/index.ht - is one of the nicest free interpreters. Runs on lots of platforms.

Richard was on the BBC's language committee, wrote the Z80 version (which was roughly contemporary with Acorn's BBC Micro version) and has been supporting it ever since
