This is AWESOME! Portal! Yes, PORTAL! On the PET!!!!!! And it's fantastic!!

Super Star Trek, which I have converted from the original 1970s (80 column printer terminal) source code. Now for the #Commodorer64 with some sympathetic enhancements such as NAVigation and TORpedo helpers. It's not perfect, but getting there. Still deliberately terminal based!

Available for Windows 95 :BlobhajShock:

It's funny. It's only now that I've made a .gif of the old Boing Ball demo, and I see it before it animates, that I realize exactly how they did it. There's no animation of the ball. Just colour-cycle it, and let the Amiga's hardware move it around. Genius. 🤓

Not sure why it never occurred to me to try my favorite retro demo program on an 80 column PET. Universe wrong now righted. Happy Wednesday! #commodore #PET #retrocomputing

Something is in the pipes and it brought me back to the lovely big blue for a little bit. Stay tuned! #Commodore64

It may look like the #C64 version but this is in C16/Plus4 format. #CharPad Pro C16 can now automatically convert existing C64 projects.
I take back what I said about the C16 palette order, #Commodore knew what they were doing making the first 8 colours the same as the C64.
