@LCNMUK I’ve definitely noticed increased difficulty with word-finding since I had #Covid. Though I always had a certain amount, so it’s hard to know if it’s Long Covid, or just getting older. 🤪
One thing I have found which has helped a lot with brain fog is to significantly increase my protein intake, though I still struggle to reach the RDA of 85+g.
@paul_briley @KimSJ @LCNMUK Serious question - how is it possible to "try" those things? Do I go to a GP and ask for them ....? I just can't imagine doing that and getting a positive response!
@kasey @paul_briley @KimSJ @LCNMUK Looks like the first 2 I googled are sold as supplements, at least in the US. Now Foods - a supplement brand I've used for yearrrrs and trust - sells Serrapeptase. Could be worth checking them for the others if you're interested in trying these. (I heard of them for the first time just now, and FWIW, the NF Serrapeptase sounds like it might be contraindicated w blood thinners, at minimum) https://www.nowfoods.com/products/supplements/serrapeptase-veg-capsules

NK with Serrapeptase works better according to users than NK on its own. LK works slightly differently but less research. @organichemusic on Twitter has loads of info on these treatments. They reduce Fibrin that are the amyloid fibre microclots in the blood. Whereas anticoagulants thin the blood.

This book looks like an incredible resource. What an excellent recommendation!
@kasey @paul_briley @KimSJ @LCNMUK I've got serropeptase in my cabinet (for other reasons), a number of reputable brands are available on Amazon.
... but one should thoroughly look into the pharmokinetics of it.
@kasey @KimSJ @LCNMUK
Kasey, I've given up with my GP. Totally hopeless. I've done tons of research. Followed key epidemiologists & immunologists on here, YouTube & Twitter to get to understand disease & possible treatments.
Recently toot here who's GP has been great though. Lottery.
