AHH! Found out tonight that Skype a Scientist was awarded $3500 from the Penn Treaty Special Services District for a summer 2023 science ed project about jersey shore animals!
Animal facts & art (from local Philly artists) will go onto coasters and be distributed to bars in the area. Each design will focus on a different animal, like horseshoe crabs, ctenophores, sea angels, and more! The coaster will send folks who want to know more to a hotline full of more information about the ecosystem!
Decided to find out what would happen at that other site if I mentioned a #mastodon recently acquired by my museum.
