My web search is not turning up the “why” of these photographs. Why would the Gestapo photograph prisoners?
@patrickgillam @auschwitzmuseum They documented almost everything. My great-grandmother was put on a train to Auschwitz, but her arrival was not documented. We assume she died during the journey. She was 73 years old.
