Vrouwen in de politiek krijgen onevenredig veel haat en agressie. Daar moeten we samen iets aan doen. Om te beginnen zelf nooit hatelijk, neerbuigend of agressief zijn op social media. Maar daarnaast ook anderen er op aanspreken.

I give Twitter 6 months. If that. Already the shitposters and hatemongers have come back in-droves and they are running around like gleeful school children.
Musk says activists have scared off advertisers. Um, no. Perhaps it's Musk firing Twitter's entire content moderation team.
Parler, Truth Social, Gab don't have anywhere near the revenue Twitter had. Advertisers don't want their ads interspersed with shitposts full of sadistic glee for Paul Pelosi's assault and other MAGA hatred.
Bye Twitter. It was fun while it lasted.

Eerst kon ik alleen inloggen vanaf mijn Mac. Daar ging het scherm van kapot. Hij wordt gratis gerepareerd door de Apple Store (na 5! Jaar). Nu lukt t ook vanaf mijn iPhone. Ik ga dit onder de knie krijgen.

Interesting concept, this Mastodon. Thanks Elon, for sending me here. My interests are climate change and specifically, slowing it down, equality, diversity, humans, cats, nature, hiking, theatre, my awesome kids, Chef'Special, food intolerance, post-viral syndrome, chronic fatigue, breast cancer and almost everything else.
Tot mijn intense verwondering blijk ik nu twee accounts te hebben op Mastodon: @keuningin en @keuningin, maar die laatste is op een andere server. Geen idee welke. Ik ga dit uitvogelen! Watch this space!
Nu Twitter een rijkeluisspeeltje dreigt te worden, wil ik kijken of Mastodon een goede vervanging kan zijn.
Het is allemaal nog wat onduidelijk voor me, maar laten we het eens proberen.

Agree. To become informed about our society you have to be open to the full spectrum of opinions, whether you agree with them or not. Only then you can sensibly decide what your own opinion is, and make it convincing for yourself before you start to try to convince others =)
Ik wil onderzoeken of dit iets voor mij is. Benieuwd of de sfeer hier prettiger is dan op Twitter, waar ik soms moe word van alle extreme meningen en het voortdurende veroordelen van andersdenkenden
