@randalltan personally I find #WFH more freeing, since it eliminates a lot of extra worries about social etiquette (attire, mannerisms, interactions, conversations, politics, etc) on top of work

Really helpful as someone who doesn't cope well with #anxiety most of the time: I don't want to struggle in my job just because I have trouble keeping up with physical/social interactions that aren't the main scope of my work

Informatics: Linux geek since 2001, #rstats user for about 15 years, and functional programmer since I learnt me some Haskell 3 years ago.

I turn data into knowledge and actions. Some might call that a "data scientist". I call it a biologist, who uses computers to answer questions and strives to write robust and efficient code.
