This is just pure insanity as far as I'm concerned. In order to turn a dirt path into a paved one for walking and bicycling, we not only have to have a Town Meeting vote, but we need to get 2/3 YES votes at 11 pm on a weeknight? Who is really being served by this kind of representation and process?

@cden4 @s_bosbach This was total stupidity. I couldn't attend due to conference calls with Asia, but to throw away more than $10 million in infrastructure funding to avoid making just 1.7 miles of our 30+ miles of trails more accessible to people needing mobility aids is lunacy. The much-vaunted canopy that would recede somewhat during the project is one bad blizzard or ice storm away from doing that, anyway. 🙄
