What zelenskyy is currently doing is politically stupid and annoyingly forceful in relation to it's western politics, but it is the only correct decision of a competent leader when it's nation is under attack.

We are going to do everything we can to secure ukrainian sky, it's national independence, sovereignty and it's right to be the member of the European Union.

The EU,US,UK and countries accepting ukraine/russian refugees has to focus on psychological help now.

These people were forced to live with fighter jets flying over their heads, neighborhoods or even their own house bombed, families and friends killed and worse..

NATO has Sukhoi SU-25/27 that ukraine air force knows how to work with as they have those already in their military..

Why are we not giving that to ukraine instead of dated MiG-29 that are weak in one circle which is probably the most common situation that ukraine's air force is going fight into assuming that they will face Sukhoi SU-25/27/35 and possibly 57 which are more agile and powerful?

Not to say that MiG-29 can't win against those, but they are in disadvantage assuming that those polish migs are not upgraded.. which they probably are?

zelenskyy has to realize that we can't declare no flight zone over ukraine without triggering a conflict with russia, the current strategy (which unfortunately will result in the death of ukrainian citizens) is significantly less risky and achieves the same end goal.

If we enter such conflict with russia, yes it might be a quick process assuming that china doesn't affiliate themselves with russia, but the damage done to the climate would be irreversible.

What we can do is supply weapons and resources to ukrainian forces to police their sky (that we are already doing and realizing the shipment of fighter jets) which currently seems as a very possible thing to do assuming the incompetent russian air force.

That said i fully support declaring no flight and no fight zones over nuclear power plants which should be a result of a diplomacy.
