It's ukraine's decision to join NATO it's non-starter to implying otherwise.
Threat of Ukraine joining NATO to the Russian Federation is recognized and Russia has been given all opportunities to reach an agreenment with NATO on the subject.

kiev choosed the EU and NATO as evident by the recent polling so you have two options
a) fuck off from the ukrainian border and avoid a bloody conflict with more losses and strategical disadvantage on your side
b) Continue giving NATO reasons to defend it's member states and declare a war which you will lose even if you take in china with you in this conflict.
NATO is giving CSTO all the opportunities to engage in a peaceful resolution and is open to establish an agreenment on the presence of military equipment assuming that CSTO's equipment does not threaten the NATO.
