@beardalaxy @hideki nah just making a point that ubuntu is a shit and shouldn't be used as a some kind of standard for gnu distros

@beardalaxy @hideki ok you did this to yourself:

People usually use the term linux distro, because majority of distros present themselves as Name Linux where the linux is only kernel the operating system is GNU so unless you are referring to linux distribution such as linux-libre by the Free Software Foundation Latin America that everyone should be using instead of mainline then you should say GNU distro where GNU being the userland that holds everything together and is therefor called the Operating System with linux being just one of it's supported kernels.

All operating GNU Operating systems has to follow GNU FSDG <gnu.org/distros/free-system-di> requiring following established values such as not including code and packages that is not GPLv3 complying to be considered GNU and thus "GNU distribution" not "Linux distribution" when referring to the OS.

Ubuntu is just disgusting reskin of Debian both of which violate GNU FSDG which is why GNU is maintaining a fork called GNU Trisquel instead thus Ubuntu is not linux distribution because it is not complying with GNU FSDG and therefor legally call itself a Ubuntu GNU/Linux and should be avoided..

Personally i would rather use Windows as ubuntu is terrible OS filled with malware that is very very slow on security updates and should be at all cost avoided in production environment.. or any environment tbh

And apt-based distros are obsolete since like 2008 it's very limited and inefficient package manager that should be avoided.. consider using GNU Guix instead (can be installed and cleanly removed on majority of the distros so that you can try it e.g. apt-get install -y guix).

Al Jazeera reports that russo-ukraine war will have a major impact on global grain market mainly in lower and middle-income countries to cause possibly major food shortages.. and thus suffering

@Eris @blackeyes and FYI it hurts me to call putin a fascist i am slav and i respected him a lot

@blackeyes @Eris

Russia already lost this russo-ukrainian war due to the leadership failures of Vladimir Putin 1 day ago. There is no way that russia can recover from this now and it will suffer the consequences from this for years to come.

It's economy was on decline since the annexation of Crimea and now it's on steep decline which is going to cut it off from majority of the world which is going to cause pain and suffering to everyone in russia for years and generations to come.

It's population is on decline since the fall of soviet union and now it will get much worse.

These actions made Vladimir Putin to be known in history as the fascist who destroyed it's country and it's people waging war on a country of it's brothers and sisters.

NATO is defensive alliance that accepted russia as an ally and friend as evident by G8 and invested in it heavily to be able to extract oil (the only thing that russia can reliably sell to sustain itself at this moment) and to have a sustainable economy and prosperous economy.

This all changed since the annexation of Crimea in 2014.

We are not the aggressor on the subject and we didn't choose to be part of this and we should took this action long before Crimea when he invaded georgia and annexed it's territory in 2008 to prevent this bloodshet instead of continueing to on the afganistan occupation. The failures are on both sides and we can either stop the war now and engage in dialog or we will end up in nuclear WW3 which will end up in the destruction of human race.

Russia can always return Crimea and all of the former territory to ukraine _and Georgia_ for us to be open for a dialog to became a friend and ally again which is what everyone in NATO would prefer thus why we worked on accepting russia in NATO before 2014.

Their concerns about oil to sustain it's economy is noted and valid reasoning to panic and invade ukraine who has newly found reserves of oil that threaten russia.

Putin should Instead of waging wars and destruction engage in a dialogue to explore ways to make russia more economically sutainable and prosperous.

The west was always happy to invest in russia to make it more sustainable and economically independent until this relationship was shattered by vladimir putin who now has parts of georgia, holds belarus a hostage with a country that only has oil that it is unable to dig out and sell to sustain itself.

@kreyren @blackeyes >The word hypernormalization was coined by Alexei Yurchak, a professor of anthropology who was born in Leningrad and later ...

@Eris @blackeyes We are not like putin.

None in NATO wants to own the world, we want the world to be able to control itself through the word of it's people.

Establish a democratic governance with a sustainable governance and you can join us in that effort as an equal.

Vladimir Putin is a fascist who is destroying russia by killing it's people and economy in a senseless and unjust war.

Владимир Путин является фашистом, который разрушает Россию, убивая его людей и экономику в бессмысленной и несправедливой войне.

@blackeyes @kreyren PLEASE TELL ME WHY A CHILD MOLESTING PEDOPHILE OIL BARON GETS TO OWN THE UKRAINE AND NOT THE GREAT AND PROUD EMPEROR OF RUSSI...

Русские люди - герои этой несправедливой войны.

Russian people are heros of this unjust war.

@blackeyes @Eris Same argument can be applied from NATO that NATO is the more powerful alliance to maintain democracy of it's neighbors, but i do agree that this is a political failure on NATO side.

@Eris why? I am not saying NATO going in conflict with CSTO i am saying NATO going in conflict with Ukraine

@blackeyes @Eris what gives him the right to decide what happens in ukraine?

I did recognize the security concerns and both NATO and CSTO removed some of it's weapons to de-escalate and yet he still invaded..
