@DMRDynamics Thanks for the morning's laugh
This required a "study"?
"Narcissism reduces the quality of long-term friendships, study finds"
(I can't wait for the follow-up, "Frequency of attending the theater to decrease after death, study finds")
@jeffowski "Conservative" might as well be in quotes
@panamared27401 Truly amazing recovery so far and hopefully will continue. But those who lost loved ones in similar situations may wonder if they also received the same heroic interventions. Would he still be alive if they kept up CPR? Why didn't they try defibrillation on her? Was grandpa just "let go" because of his age or health?

And that's phone PHOBE. Not really a fan of autocorrect. It can't possibly keep up with my scattered brain.
@dankennedy_nu @newshour For someone who witnessed this happen to a loved one it does bring flashbacks though

As a phone-phone, I'd much prefer a text or email that I can read at my convenience rather than the demanding loud disruption of a phone ringing at random times. Besides, then there's a written record.
@mcnees A favorite poem (about a relative, actually) speaks about the techs who do the work but remain out of sight. Not quite the same but an often repeated story.
#Astrotourism is booming in the U.S. state of #Utah. The Beehive State attracts more night-sky tourists than almost anywhere else in the world and supports an industry that may be worth billions. The vitality of this business depends strongly on the #DarkSkies of the Colorado Plateau and a growing awareness of the need to protect them.

@drvolts Too bad my major appliances picked last year to die.
Thanks, Biden!

Starting right now, you can get tax credits to install more energy efficient appliances for your house. Electric ovens, solar panels, heat pumps: you name it.
Save money while fighting climate change.

Yvonne Madelaine Brill was born #OTD in 1924. She was a rocket scientist who invented the hydrazine resistojet, which increased the payload capacity of satellites by reducing the weight of propellant they require. JWST uses hydrazine thrusters!

@SarahMackAttack My favorite was, after I gave a mumbled answer to dinosaur (Pokemon, Nintendo, whatever) question, "Well, actually...." Yeah, 6 year olds.
