uspol, transphobia, xenophobia

"This US Citizen was wrongfully detained by ICE!" has the same energy as "This cis woman was wrongfully accused of being a trans woman!"

Both contain the unspoken logic that immigrants and trans women deserve the treatment they get, and isn't it just so terrible when someone who doesn't deserve it gets punished?

re: uspol, transphobia, xenophobia

@erin yes. 💯 everyone detained by ICE is wrongfully detained

uspol, ICE

@hamid
What if they're a criminal trying to escape justice by smuggling themselves into the US, or what if they are not a criminal by their countries laws but they are by US laws?
Not saying that ICE are good guys or anything, but I'm sure they have _some_ good purpose.

@light ICE as an agency is less than 25 years old. The US existed for hundreds of years without masked shock troopers disappearing children from schools. It was never needed.

Anyways enjoy your block for attempting to justify the gestapo.

I was not, but go right ahead my friend. All you've done is proven that you are a dimwit who hates nuance, and such people aren't worth talking to.
