@icedquinn are there Emacs functions that really don't work on Windows?

@lmedinar there are some which call out to external tools to do their job and those will not work on windows (as windows does not have grep, ripgrep or ag.)
@lmedinar you can for example get one that uses ripgrep or silver searcher to scan a project folder for matches then pulls the context from those searches in to a buffer, and then run a command which changes this to a wgrep buffer, which allows you to refactor all of the match sites from a single screen and then write the changes back.

its called 'nuclear weapon editing' in search results and its amazing.
