#ElonJet I'm of two minds about ElonJet issue. On one hand, I get that Musk is a deeply hypocritical ass who has put others in danger thanks to his own trolling.

On the other hand, the Internet has badly eroded the privacy of just about everyone who uses it, and I think that sucks. Musk is an utter tool but still a human being, so I don't want to know where he's flying next, even out of spite.

What do you think? Is it an ethical conundrum for anyone else or am I overthinking this?

@markrvickers you’re not overthinking. but if the internet has eroded privacy for just about everyone, why should a rich fuck be exempt? I get that celebrities pay a terrible privacy price for the fame they acquire but it doesn’t help society to exempt them from that price.
as for in particular, he’s about to release location data of twitter users to advertisers unless they pay for blue. @elonjet is way less intrusive than that

@voron @markrvickers @elonjet @luckyduck It's unfortunate how Musk won't see the parallels between the ElonJet account and, say, Libs Of TikTok.

@borogove @voron @elonjet @luckyduck He's a lot of things but self aware does not seem to be one of them
