@gknauss @magicaltrout hehehe, when I left the company I was a partner of to start working on my Ph.D. at the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia in Granada, that was in my mind: that I would seem less geeky/nerdy in their company… Alas, the “nerdery” is strong in me 🤷🏽♂️
@juandesant @gknauss I feel like at JPL we're all nerds just in different domains, so the nerds stand out across domains but not within the domain... I have no idea if that makes sense but it does in my head! 😄

There aren’t a lot of places I wouldn’t be at least a standard deviation over mean nerdery, but JPL sure seems like it’d be one of them.
