Initial impressions (with CX31993):-
DQ6
Sounds balanced and is less picky to the type of music played, whether it's in genre or format. Not as detailed as the ZEX but isn't muddy either. I'd use this as an all-rounder or when I'm out.
ZEX
Lively with slightly forward mids compared to the DQ6. Better detail on instruments but, compared with the DQ6, performs better with higher quality music. Slightly more sensitive to volume, more comfortable with the stock tips too.
I think the ZEX may have a better soundstage and the tuning makes it more 'fun' in games, probably wouldn't use it for racing games though.

Fuck yeah. I still listen to the Hyperspace music (original and remixes) to this day.
