@pixelfed Hi there! As a #blind screen reader user, I would really appreciate it if you'd take the time to #captionyourimages as it would really help with #accessibility
And it's not just people like me who appreciate them either, it's users on low bandwidth or metered connections who don't want to load the full res picture, those with #autism who sometimes find the context helpful, the huge percentage of those with preexisting visual impairments [#VI] which includes many people over 55 ETC.
It doesn't have to be anything incredibly detailed or artfully written, but something is nearly always better than nothing. I believe that their is even an option to automatically #OCR images now which should give you a head start.

Space is to our #universe what numbers are to the #simulated #reality in any computer. Matter moving through space can simply be seen as operations happening on the #variable #space. If #matter is moving at say 1,000 miles per second, then 1,000 miles worth of space is being transformed by a #function, or operated upon every second. If there were some hardware running the simulation called “space” of which matter, energy, you, me, everything is a part, then one telltale sign of the artifact of the hardware within the simulated reality “space” would be a maximum limit on the container size for space on which one operation can be performed. Such a #limit would appear in our universe as a #maximum #speed.

Installed firefox-esr and set to false 'app.update.auto'
Now I'll wait and watch if the auto updates are trully deactivated.
New #Firefox - How to #bypass the #automatic #updates
1. Install and use instead Firefox ESR.
On ubuntu 20.04 you must add MozillaTeam ppa to your system. On the terminal write:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/ppa
sudo apt update
Now you have Firefox in you repository and you can install it using Synaptic or from the terminal:
sudo apt install firefox-esr
2. (Radical, I've not tested it, should stop all updates until reversed...)
Write 'about:config' on your Firefof's URL bar (without the quotes)
Write 'update' on the top search bar
Toggle the first line, 'app.update.auto', from true to false (click twice on the arrows at the end of the line).
