@Samuelmoore The best proof of the soundness of the thesis of the article is that the article itself has been published on an *Elsevier* journal. On the other hand, however, the very authors of the article are contributing to make a full and fair implementation of OA unlikely. How can you require to "improve the prestige and governance of non-profit online journals and pre-print site" by *not* publishing on them and choosing an Elsevier venue, instead?
