@loke @sohkamyung Based on the photo it's curled up, so it will reach its length plus the momentum which can make it glide through the air a bit. I don't know how agile this type of snake is when attacking, but once caught a golden tree snake (longer and thinner) in the kitchen, it could move up on the walls vertically (surreal to watch), caught it behind the head wearing leather gloves, put it in jar and released in a rice field a kilometer away from the village.
@loke @sohkamyung Snakes are most dangerous when curled up, attack position, when they are stretched out on the move is the best time to grab (if possible). Usually snakes are scared of humans, so if you can let them go (without cornering) that's the best option, but not always possible if they are trapped in house/apartment room. The professionals here in the village use a stick and a sack, some use a grabber stick, looks something like this: https://www.amazon.com/snake-grabber/s?k=snake+grabber
