I like space exploration but "it creates jobs" is always such a dumb argument and basically the reason we still have to work 40hrs even through productivity is so much higher now.

Like if some job gets partially automated the answer to that should be to lower working hours or better working conditions instead of inventing Jobs that serve no purpose or forcing inefficiencies in those industries
