It was just pointed out to me that a hashtag I tried to use on a recent posting had a typo. It just now took me about 5 seconds to edit the post to fix this. And I did it for free -- didn't even cost $8.
@lauren Does your node allow editing, or did you do a discard-and-redraft?
Some bits of Mastodon are still a mystery to me. I should really go read the core protocol.
@mtomczak But yeah, I don't know how this edit function being presented to me actually functions at the protocol level.
@mtomczak Editing is enabled and that's what I'm using.
