I'm not worried about #AI becoming sentient or some kind of #AGI. Rather, I think the biggest immediate threat to us all right now is that the internet becomes untrustworthy. When you can't tell if a video, photo, or article is coming from an actual human being, you have no trust. Remember how #robocalls and #smishing eroded your trust in your phone and text apps? We are about to hit that point with other forms of media. It will just become too tiring to fact-check everything on the internet.
