For immediate practicality, we can now tell everyone who believes otherwise that we have from the horse's mouth that they were wrong. And in the meta-analysis: truth is always an affirmative defense, and the fact that they couldn't take that defense to court and expect to win means they were *really* wrong; there wasn't a rational framework in which their statements could be *construed* as true.
