On Reddit, I recently got many followers with names like:
– Superb-Ground4545
– Plastic-Lime-9630
– General-Age-3195
Most likely bots. Their accounts are deleted now, but I still see them in my notifications.
The next step is probably to use AI to generate less suspicious-looking account names.
@rauschma Those are default names Reddit assigns when you don't pick a name.
It's the laziest spam approach ever and it still works.
