@LargeTV looking for a bit of sanity, got a very young family member who thinks they are trans, trying to have friendly discussion about it so they don't close down, but it turns my brain inside out to do it.
@Spook @LargeTV when you say “very young family member” do you mean this person might be too young to fully understand what that means? I think it is important to start with a conversation about what distinguishes men from women and women from men. For young people, they may be confused on these definitions and cultural norms are not helpful.
Young teen, so understands but maybe can't take in the lifetime cjanges that ate being put in place. Try to talk and tell them there is no rush to do anything straight away. If@neverbenbetter@qoto.org @LargeTV
