Induction hobs are indeed cool.(..or hot?) Eddy currents are usually considered an annoyance (wasteful energy dissipation), but they have their uses. I am a bit wary of the claim to boil water in under a minute. Too many parameters are missing (mass of water? maximum current drawn by device? Battery capacity?) There's a great video [1], and channel in general (I think the link below should work?) comparing kettles including an induction hob. But max power is the determining factor for the induction hob, but also your container's material is important. Facts are energy to do things is fixed the question is the efficiency and the power. I don't see detailed claims in that site and that makes my spidey-senses tingle. They'd also want a very careful cooling solution as the hob could get very warm and if the battery is integrated this could lead to a hazard.
