One issue is that financial firms are just not in a good spot to be making decisions of this kind and they have been handling it badly, especially when it gets fuzzier. When they do act, it can involve a lot of collateral damage (and with questionable efficacy). #FreeSpeech #Japan

I remember a case where someone was like "it's got to be an algorithm" because it was so bizarre and stupid. When the company fixed it, it turned out it wasn't just a human, it was multiple humans. #FreeSpeech
