I've historically not been a fan of Bluesky's moderation practices myself (I've heard that they are puritanical in some ways). However, we should be wary of making these kinds of insinuations.
🎎🍵CAMELLIA TEA CEREMONY🌺🍡
The calm, cold, quiet days of winter are almost over, and the fragrant plum blossoms herald warmer days ahead.
Before the trickle of visitors becomes a flood, let me take the time to show you around our teahouses, and explain what services we offer🙇♂️

Remember the Scunthorpe Problem (algorithmic moderation). #FreeSpeech
However, if someone takes issue with cases like that, it's strange to call for less review.
Without someone manually reviewing it, it also means automatically accusing someone of being a criminal to the police.
A while ago, there was a bit of a scandal over someone's Google account being terminated over photos taken for medical purposes. They could never get it back. It's not clear it was an algorithm, a human moderator is unlikely to consider that either.
And think about how many services one company might operate, someone might lose access to a lot of things based on an algorithm accusing them of something.
For a more conventional magic academy (well, superpowers) #anime, there is Gakuen Alice. Or I suppose there is always My Hero Academia.
Munou na Nana was an interesting #anime. I probably shouldn't tell you too much, so I'll just say it's about an academy with a bunch of characters with superpowers. There are a lot of twists and turns.
There is a flaw in the premise, the plot treats people with even slightly useful abilities as if they are as strong as Superman but it's not really a big deal.

Looks like KOSMA is a bit different from KOSA. I haven't looked at it closely yet.
One thing I can think of off the bat is that trying to remove potential minors off platforms could lead to false positives / censorship (i.e. what if someone plays a cartoon / anime character, I'm going by reports of what happened on Instagram / Twitch).
@ilumium I'm going by the article here.
The story is suspicious. A lot of the things they treat as signs of someone being up to no good sound like standard privacy features. It doesn't necessarily mean someone is up to no good.
Other things could be explained by a one man show. Someone might not want their personal info to be public (harassment?). If it's relatively amateur, they might not have a privacy policy.
It sounds like they are processing and acting on emails sent to them.
