One issue is that financial firms are just not in a good spot to be making decisions of this kind and they have been handling it badly, especially when it gets fuzzier. When they do act, it can involve a lot of collateral damage (and with questionable efficacy).

When I say "AI" (with quotes), I mean, artificial "intelligence".

A concern I'd have with "AI" is that the art styles would be awfully homogenous.

Don't underestimate the chances of humans screwing up when it comes to censorship.

I remember a case where someone was like "it's got to be an algorithm" because it was so bizarre and stupid. When the company fixed it, it turned out it wasn't just a human, it was multiple humans.

It's hard to understand until you learn the co-founder also owns a for-profit wiki hosting service (they seem to think they own your wiki) called Wikia. I think it rebranded as "Fandom".

Since things seem to be bugging out right now, I think I'll come back later.
