Evangelion's studio? I think there were a few flops and some other things and they went bankrupt.

Stein's Gate? The developer for the game has gone bankrupt.

I haven't counted it specifically, but it felt like twenty, there were quite a few.

Also, it's probably not the anime adaptation that is the main product there. It's the book or the game or something else.

There are generic titles but the fact that there's a generic title out there doesn't live rent free inside my head. I don't watch them so I don't care.

Adapting titles is expensive, so some part is bound to be generic.

Apparently, there are new light novels for Infinite Stratos being published, so maybe there will be another season for that.

I guess that with the transported to another world genre taking off, we're no longer going to get like twenty generic looking titles with the same themes as Infinite Stratos?

Likely because it's a German company. There was an obscure German official who went around going "you need to age verify!" with a vague standard of indecency.

Quick recommendation.

Avoid following an account *simply because it's an "anime fan account"* if it's an account preoccupied with hating on titles, genres, elements, and so forth.

I'm hearing that they now have nomadic identities in a couple of fediverse systems (not Mastodon). That sounds interesting.

I'm looking at Nostr as I've been hearing about it for years and it has an interesting concept. I want a better understanding of the landscape.

If there are other projects you think would be interesting for me to look at, feel free to make suggestions.

I've been hearing of quite a few interesting decentralized / federated systems but I haven't had the time to look at them all.

Apparently, Misskey is considering breaking federation with Mastodon.
