Looks like KOSMA is a bit different from KOSA. I haven't looked at it closely yet.
One thing I can think of off the bat is that trying to remove potential minors off platforms could lead to false positives / censorship (i.e. what if someone plays a cartoon / anime character, I'm going by reports of what happened on Instagram / Twitch).
I saw a bad take about "personal info being concealed on a small website".
There are plenty of reasons why someone might not want to make their personal info public, particularly if they are a one man show. Harassment for one.

KOSA is still problematic.
Even studios which you wouldn't expect have gone bankrupt.
Evangelion's studio? I think there were a few flops and some other things and they went bankrupt.
Stein's Gate? The developer for the game has gone bankrupt.
I haven't counted it specifically, but it felt like twenty, there were quite a few.

Also, it's probably not the anime adaptation that is the main product there. It's the book or the game or something else.
There are generic titles but the fact that there's a generic title out there doesn't live rent free inside my head. I don't watch them so I don't care.
Adapting titles is expensive, so some part is bound to be generic.
Apparently, there are new light novels for Infinite Stratos being published, so maybe there will be another season for that.
I guess that with the transported to another world genre taking off, we're no longer going to get like twenty generic looking titles with the same themes as Infinite Stratos?
